This past weekend I spent a little time removing the old exhaust system and test fitting the new one. I'm using the Walker/Dynomax 2 1/4" kit that Saleen used on the SC cars. The SA10's had this as an option because it was available in the catalog. This is one of my many choices I'll be making in this process by looking in the Saleen Performance catalogs from 1993 and 1994. If the original owner of the SA10 didn't specify a different cat back the stock Ford cat back was left in place but the SC "trumpet" stainless tips were added. The SC tips were keeping with the theme of "the exterior of all the cars will look the same". All nine SA10's have the SC "trumpet" tips. But not all nine have the same cat back. Some have the SC cat back and others have the factory cat back. Number four will be equipped with stainless ceramic coated SC headers, stock four cat H pipe and the SC Walker/Dynomax cat back.
Don't have any installed pics at the moment. I was only able to get the cat back hung in place. But if you need a pic just imagine a black 93 LX 5.0 on jackstands with the factory H pipe sitting under it on the floor and the cat back hanging loosely under the car.
